HOW TO MEMORIALIZE YOURSELF
OR A LOVED ONE WITH YOUR GIFT
AT SAINT RITA OF CASCIA SHRINE
Memorializations are available in the lower shrine and can be reserved
for both the living and deceased. Some individuals have placed their
own names in memorialization.
The types of memorializations available and their placement is
as follows:
$100 to $499
The name is engraved on a large wooden and metal plaque in the lower
shrine.
$500 to $999
The name is engraved on plaque affixed to a chair in the Reconciliation
Chapel. There are a limited number available in this category. Please
contact us for availability.
$1,000 to $4,999
The name is engraved on a large granite stone on the wall leading
from the entrance to the Saint Rita chapel.
$2,000
The name is engraved on a metal plate at the base of the candles adjoining
the relics of Saint Rita.
$5,000 to $9,999
The name is engraved on the stone facing in one of three niches which
surround Saint Rita’s statue, dedicated to her patron saints.

$10,000 and above – Memorials are being accepted for the proposed
CASCIA CENTER in this category.
ANNUAL VOTIVE LIGHTS
$150.00
An Annual Votive Light can be memorialized with the name of the person.
If desired, this can be renewed from year to year. The starting date
is the 1st of the month following the reservation of the memorial.

CENTER
Our project for the construction of the new Cascia Center will allow
for memorializations as well. We will be happy to provide information
on this if desired.
SAINT RITA SOCIETY
| Founded in 1910 to honor Saint Rita, promote
her life and message, and unite in spiritual communion those
devoted to her. All those enrolled share in; ( a ) monthly
Mass celebrated at the Shrine for all living and deceased
members; (b) remembrance in the weekly novena each Wednesday
as well as in the Solemn Novena each May; ( c) remembrance
in the daily prayers of the Augustinian Friars attached to
the Shrine. Members are asked to spread devotion to Saint
Rita and to pray for other living and deceased members.
Individual Annual

SPIRITUAL ENROLLMENTS
| The Shrine provides spiritual enrollment
cards for a variety of occasions, suitable for birthdays,
anniversaries, get well wishes, etc.
One Year Enrollment

Living or Deceased - Offering $5.
Perpetual Enrollment
Living or Deceased - Offering $15. |
MEMORIAL DONATIONS
| Saint
Rita’s Shrine is grateful to those who help support our
ministry by offering donations in memory of a friend or loved
one. Acknowledgment for all memorial gifts is made both to
the donor and to the individual memorialized or his/her family. |
