A NIGHT AT THE RACES

St. Mary Magdalen dePazzi Lodge of the Sons of Italy is having "A Night At The Races" on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at dePazzi Hall, 714 Montrose Street.  Doors open at 5:00 p.m.  Post Time will be at 6:30 p.m.  Come early to watch the Kentucky Derby.  Admission is $5.00, and you can purchase a horse for $25.00.  To learn more, call 267-582-1685.

Led by Dr. Nina Marie Corona, Follow His Lead, is a three night parish mission that draws us into the lived story of Jesus - the people he met, the places he walked, and the moments he faced. Through storytelling, music, and visual reflection, we discover how the life of Jesus meets our own and learn to recognize His presence in everyday moments. It will be held at 7:00 p.m. each evening at St. Nicholas of Tolentine Church, 910 Watkins Street. Project Nonna is a ministry of St. Paul Parish that seeks to help the elderly in and around South Philadelphia, as well as their caregivers who might need a mental health break. LEISURE TIMERS SENIOR CLUB

The Leisure Timers Senior Club of St. Paul Parish is returning to dePazzi Hall, 714 Montrose Street for another fun season of fellowship, food and bingo! Meetings are Mondays at 1:00 p.m. All men and women 50 years and older are welcome to join! Membership is $5.00 yearly and weekly dues are $2.00. Bingo cards are $3.00 each or 2 for $5.00.
