Designated a Sacred Jubilee Site
In December 2024, the Most Reverend Nelson J. Pérez, the Archbishop of Philadelphia, informed the National Shrine of Saint Rita of Cascia that we have been designated a “Sacred Jubilee Site” in the Archdiocese for the Ordinary Jubilee Year 2025. This designation means that all who make a pilgrimage to the Shrine have the ability to obtain a Jubilee Indulgence.
